Challenges
Eraverse set out to bring a 3D multiplayer metaverse — with FPS combat, PvE modes, Web3 ownership, and live events — into the browser, on a 4-month runway. That ambition translated into a few hard problems:
Shipping console-quality 3D to web and mobile browsers. FPS experiences typically live on desktop or console. Eraverse had to deliver the ERAGON galaxy — multiplayer combat, PvE modes, real-time social spaces — through the browser, where every megabyte of asset and every frame of render budget matters.
Web3 features that feel like gameplay, not bolt-ons. Real-time Airdrops, NFT skin swaps, and tradeable assets had to live inside the moment-to-moment experience — not behind external wallets or transaction screens that break immersion.
One world, many game loops. A single metaverse had to host Multiplayer Shooting, PvE Hunting Treasure, and PvE Fortune — each with different rules, but sharing players, inventory, identity, and social presence. Interoperability had to be a core design constraint, not a patch.
A 4-month runway for full-cycle delivery, covering design, 3D art, FPS netcode, multiple game modes, Web3 integration, browser optimisation, and live-event tooling — all from preproduction through launch.
Our Solutions
ThreeJS, tuned 3D game for web and mobile browsers. We compressed assets, streamed content on demand, and tuned the render pipeline so a 3D multiplayer FPS metaverse runs in-browser without a native install — removing the install friction that usually throttles Web3 game adoption.
Web3 wired into the player loop. Real-time Airdrops, NFT-driven skin changes, and on-chain ownership are built directly into gameplay, so collecting, equipping, and trading feels like part of the experience rather than a separate dashboard.
A modular multiplayer core with interoperable game modes. One identity, one inventory, one world — but pluggable rule sets. Multiplayer Shooting, PvE Hunting Treasure, and PvE Fortune all share players and assets while running on their own logic, so new modes can plug in without rebuilding the core.
Live ops baked into the world. Interactive Billboards and real-time AMA / Livestream tooling let the ERAGON team push events, announcements, and partner content into the metaverse without rebuilding scenes — turning Eraverse into a venue, not just a game.
